Costume contest winner was Lee Charlson of Buffalo, Minnesota, as "Chico." He was visiting relatives in Northfield and went home with a Guinness flag. A male version of Cyndi Lauper and a sexy police woman also won prizes.

Halloween Party at Froggy Bottoms Sat.

Froggy Bottoms River Pub announces a Halloween party Saturday, Oct. 31st. Costume contest, prizes, drink specials and DJ, with all the scary action starting at 9 p.m. Come, join the goblins and ghosts if you dare....Frog goblins are known to be the spookiest of all amphibian apparitions.

Wes Fraser/Erik Loney Team Up at Froggy Bottoms











Froggy Bottoms Executive Chef and kitchen manager Wes Fraser (pictured left) will now be assisted by Sous Chef/assistant manager Erik Loney. Erik started cooking under the tutelage of Wes in November of 2008, aided also by Micah Humann, and Erik succeeded Micah this June. Erik is a Northfield native who will be 19 in July. His brother Shane Loney worked at Froggy Bottoms for two years. Erik says he loves working at Froggy Bottoms, with its nice and laid-back atmosphere. In fact, "Everyone is awesome!" His favorite dish to make? The quesadillas. Says Erik: "People love them. They are very popular and one order can easily serve two or more." Check out the complete menu at www.froggybottoms.com.

Wing Cook Off











Froggy Bottoms executive chef Wes Fraser (left) and sous chef Micah Humann (right) are ready to test their wings at the Northfield Golf Club, Saturday, May 30, from 3-7 p.m. The Golf Club is hosting a Wing Cook-Off among Froggy Bottoms, the Northfield Golf Club, the Rueb, the Fieldhouse and Beef O'Bradys. Admission to this all-you-can-eat event is $10.

New Froggy Times Features West Side Story

The new 2009 Froggy Times features the story of Northfield's West Side business district, which was decimated in 1958 by a highway relocation. Maggie Lee, Dan Freeman and Dick Heibel share their memories of the way it used to be. Famed architect Harry Wild Jones is also featured. And, of course, check out our new menu!

St. Pat's Grand Marshal crowned at Froggy Bottoms

J.B. Dudley, of Northfield Physical Therapy, is anointed Grand Marshal of Northfield's 2009 St. Patrick's Day parade at Froggy Bottoms on March 14, before the annual parade down Division Street. J.B is Irish on both sides of his family tree and his sister, Shawn (right), served as Grand Marshal in 2006.

Froggy O'Bottoms Welcomes March 14 St. Pat's Paraders

Froggy O'Bottoms welcomes pre- and post-parade participants and watchers of the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 14, to enjoy corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, along with all other items on our new menu. This year's Grand Marshal J.B. Dudley will be feted at Froggy's around noontime. The 9th annual parade of banners, flags, floats and coats of arms assembles in the EconO'Foods parking lot at 2 p.m. with the parade heading north on Division Street at 2:30 p.m. The parade ends with "fun and festivities" on Bridge Square and Riverside Plaza---and, of course, you can come for further fun and festivities at the Frog after that.
